Splash Gives $6,000 In Bears To Homeless Kids

During the 2019 holiday season, all Splash Car Wash locations raised money for local charities. With the help of our gracious customers, friends and family, we were able help make the holidays a little happier for those in need.

One charity in particular Splash is very passionate about, is the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH). Splash locations in Shelton, Fairfield, Norwalk, Wilton, Stamford and Cos Cob invited customers to buy a tag off their tree, which then paid $25 to gift a Paddington Bear, book or blanket to a child in a shelter. With the help of our employees and customers, we were able to raise a total of $6,000.

Aside from working with the CCEH, Splash has over 20 charities it raises money for (during the holiday season.) For years, Splash has donated a portion of its Christmas Gift Card sales to various charities. This year, we helped make an impact by raising an additional $18,000. Some of the charities included DARE, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Operation Hope, Whiskers Pet Rescue, Alzheimer’s Association and Den for Grieving Kids.

“Splash has been committed to supporting local organizations through our Christmas Sale over the past 26 years. It is great to be able to give back to the communities we serve in this way,” said Mark Curtis, CEO of Splash Car Wash.

We sincerely thank all who helped make this year so successful, with a total of $24,000 to local charities, and look forward to doing our part next holiday season!
